Prior to joining DriveTime driving school, I was a professional driving instructor with Maxwell’s driving school for more than 17 years. I fell in love with the job right away! It’s so engaging, challenging, and rewarding. The only reason that I ever glance at the time during my day is because I’m concerned that I might get the student back home late since the time went by so fast.
I take pride in effectively coaching my students through feeling their way to control the car smoothly and accurately. Perhaps even more importantly, I teach them a common sense approach to defensive driving, and initiate good habits that will serve them well for a lifetime.
Through the years, I’ve learned what methods work most effectively for my student’s benefit. However, I’ve also learned that you can’t rigidly follow a formula and take a “one size fits all” approach. Every student is different, and flexibility is required to cater each lesson for the students individual needs in a way that supports their growth. I’m thrilled to be a part of DriveTime driving school! When I met Rob, and did some ride alongs to see how they conduct lessons, I realized that he and his team share the same passion and dedication for this profession that I do.
When we go out on the road together, you’ll be amazed at how much you learn, and how quickly you improve!
I’m genuinely enthusiastic about being a driving instructor, as I find great purpose in helping others gain confidence and independence on the road. With a calm and patient approach, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel safe and encouraged.
I have taught individuals with Autism for 11 years and am currently a Science Teacher at Dunn Middle School. I am a mother of 2 boys and enjoy going on long car rides for day trips around NJ.
I am skilled at problem-solving and adapting my teaching style to suit each individual's needs, ensuring they understand both the technical and the safety aspects of driving. My goal is to guide learners with empathy, clarity, and professionalism every step of the way.
I love driving. From road trips to carpools, I volunteer to take the wheel. As an auto insurance professional, everyday I see the importance of safe driving.
Watching Rob teach my Triplet daughters to drive inspired me to join DriveTime. Following their lessons, they proudly drove to their favorite places around our hometown of Robbinsville and Mercer County
Earning my credentials as a driving instructor was exciting, but passing the “Dad Test” is my greatest endorsement!
I look forward to sharing my experiences on the road with your young driver !!
I had over 2 years driving instruction experience with Road Ready Driving School and then started DriveTime Driving School in 2021. I have been a public school teacher in New Jersey for over 20 years and have been coaching sport teams for most of that time. I am currently a Health & Physical Education teacher at Dunn Middle School in Trenton. I coach our school's girls soccer and baseball team and coached the JV softball team at Trenton Central High School for 8 years. After teaching my daughters how to drive, becoming a driving instructor was an opportunity that presented itself and one that I enjoy much more than I ever thought I would. My plan is to transition from coaching to be able to devote more time to driving lessons and eventually possibly do it on a full time basis once I retire from teaching. Drive Safely:)
